Meet our team

Suzanne Collett,

President and Founder

Suzanne has diversified experience in the cattle business. She grew up on her family's large commercial cattle ranch in Oreana, Idaho which included a backgrounding yard and registered Quarter Horses.  Suzanne holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of Idaho. Upon graduation she held jobs in the cattle business from Artificial Insemination of Cattle, Research and Development of Branded Beef Market programs, Beef Cattle Production Specialist, Source Verification, Carcass Evaluation, and Order Buying among other titles. The conception of this program is a culmination of all her hard work and ability to see what was needed to bring higher economic return as well as create a safe and professional cattle feeding program.  She lives, eats and breathes what she does which is reflected in this program...a step up from what is already out there.

Kent Bamford

VP Feeder Cattle Procurement

Kent Bamford is responsible for the incoming cattle procurement as well as looking after your cattle placed in our quality custom feeding facilities enrolled in the Cattle Fortune program. He has had ample experience in feeder cattle purchases for large cattle feeding corporations which have fed in multiple feedyards in Colorado. His direct experience in similar ventures as Cattle Fortune will benefit our customers greatly. He is owner of Bamford Feedyard at Haxtun, Colorado.  Bamford Feedyard is family business that includes a 15,000 head cattle feedyard, a farming operation of both irrigated and dry land crops, and a trucking company.  He had been involved in cattle feeding and farming for over forty years. Kent is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree is Agricultural Business.  He is a past president of the Colorado Livestock Association, a member of the board of directors for NCBA, and treasurer of the Colorado Beef Council.  In addition he serves on several other boards in the local area as well as in Colorado, and has served on several Governor appointed boards.

Cassandra Fish

Provides exceptional service with risk management consulting and fat cattle marketing. Her experiences have ranged from being a floor trader to managing the Tyson cattle feeding program which fed on average 450,000 head of cattle annually.
